Marshall-ism

I want this for Christmas, I want that.
He's looking at the star wars lego site. I thought he was playing the games.
I want the Death Star he says.
Me: Its very expensive, like $400.
Marsh: I'll ask Santa for it.
Me: It might be more than Santa can afford.
Marsh: No, the Santa who has eyes, that one. I'll ask him.
Me: ????????????????????????????????

The rest of Spring break pictures

March 2010

Spring break traditions seem to be happening -- getting together with Tucson friends and going to the zoo. This year we convinced daddy to take off work and come with us to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium in Litchfield Park. It was a drive and cost a lot even with our coupons, but hey, we had fun and made a great memory! And yes, it was St Patricks day, thus all the green shirts. We've got the luck O the Irish with us!

February 2010

February means Valentines and Somebody special turns 4! We had a preschool party to celebrate.

Introducing Lewis

The kids fed the neighbors cat, so now we have a cat. Didn't we just get birds? hmmm.... Whose brilliant idea was this?

New Years 2010

New Years in Utah is always fun with snow and cousins and grandparents, aunts and uncles, and outings, movies, and sledding, and did I mention SNOW!

And introducing new members....

the newest addition to our family....

Duct tape

Duct tape is a mom's best friend. Well a mom of boys. They really need sturdier backpacks for boys or something. And shoes. Sturdier shoes. Boys don't need to have clothing obsessions, because we have to buy them new shoes every month. Well, every 2 months. I think we are on our 4th pair of shoes for the school year, and we already used plenty of duct tape on one of those pairs. We can't have him running the jogathon in a brand new pair of shoes, now can we? They have to be broken in, he'll get blisters so we duct tape the old ones one more time. And the backpack!!! We love star wars around here, so we have 2 star wars backpacks, but.... no WAY would M give up his pack for J to use. And J's pack, oh his pack..... I don't think it will make it another 6 weeks till school is out, and are there any more star wars backpacks at walmart??? Of course not! There's so much duct tape on that thing.... I should take a pix but we have an eye appointment to get to..... SO, bye!!
